Attorney Qualifications
- 4 - 5 years experience in personal injury litigation.
- Excellent academic credentials.

- Trial experience.

Legal and Administrative Support Staff
Our law firm has a large staff of paralegals and administrative employees. All the members of our staff provide vital support to attorneys in preparing all necessary pre-trial documents and cases for trial. Our jobs involve intensive client contact. Because so many of our clients speak Spanish, we require everyone to be bilingual. We offer an excellent vacation and benefits package.
Paralegal Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English.
- Experience in the legal field (4+ years litigation required).
- Excellent communication skills (listening, interpreting, formulating, speaking clearly and politely).
- Basic math, grammar and spelling skills.
- Typing speed (70+ wpm).
- Dictaphone Machine (70+wpm)
- Good organizational skills. Detail-oriented, resourceful.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritizes work assignments.
- Very positive attitude. Hard working and conscientious. Enjoys challenge and welcomes change.
- Creative, inquisitive thinker with problem solving capability.
- Professional attire, appearance and mannerisms.
- Proficiency in Windows 2000. Although not required, knowledge of Saga is a plus.
Duties Include:
- Heavy client contact
- Interpreting Spanish/English
- Draft pleadings i.e. Summons and Complaints, Bill of Particulars, Notices of Claim, Motions and Order to Show Cause and correspondence for attorney to review.
- Correspond in writing and communicate on the telephone with medical providers, law enforcement agencies, experts, clients, judicial assistants, and others.
- Complying with Discovery and Inspections Notices.
- Process daily mail and general paperwork.
- Assist the attorney in the negotiation process by relaying important information to clients and insurance adjusters.
- Processing No-Fault Applications and filing for No-fault Arbitrations.
- Filing Note of Issue and Request for Judicial Intervention.
- Trial Preparation.
Administrative Support Staff
Qualifications
