Evan Goldberg
Bio
Evan Goldberg is the elected Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association, representing thousands of attorneys throughout the state. As a Bar Leader he actively lobbies the Legislature and the Governor's office with respect to proposed legislation affecting the rights of victims. He frequently lectures to attorneys, has authored numerous legal publications, and has given his expert legal commentary on network television and radio.

Recent Cases
Mr. Goldberg handles many complicated accident cases including medical malpractice, construction accidents, car accidents, defective machinery, slip/trip and falls, landlord liability, lead paint poisoning, assault and wrongful death. Some of his recent verdicts include the following:
- $14.7 million for boy injured by obstetrical malpractice during childbirth
- $4.07 million for tenant assaulted in building due to inadequate security
- $1.3 million for child injured by lead poisoning in apartment building
- $1.25 million for driver of car struck by another car on the roadway
Public Action
Mr. Goldberg is a 1989 graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut and various federal courts. In addition to serving on the NYSBA's House of Delegates, he also founded and chaired a Medical Malpractice Committee for the Association. He is an elected District Leader for the Westchester County Democratic Committee and is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Brooklyn Bar Association, the Kings County Inns of Court, the New Rochelle Bar Association and the Richmond County Bar Association.
