The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ordered ARC Automotive to recall its inflators in the U.S. following recent fatal incidents caused by ruptured airbags.
According to the NHTSA, metal fragments can be propelled into the vehicle when the airbag inflators rupture in frontal airbag deployment.
